Disability Support Worker

I am a 36 years old mother of 3 boys who are my world. I cherish my time caring for them, supporting them daily to learn new things. My boys have conditions like ASD and ADHD which makes me understand my clients with with similar conditions even more. I like to work with any clients right from the age of 6 years, all the way up to clients aged 60 and above. I have worked with people with downs syndrome, intellectual impairments, brain injuries, other physical and psychosocial disabilities.

In my spare time, I like to go on walks, read books, cook different foods, watch movies. I also like to spend my time with my kids, taking them to new places. I like to learn about different cultures so that I can be culturally sensitive and sensible while working with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse/CALD communities.

I like continuous learning, so I accept new clients with different complex conditions and read more about these. If required, I would do some courses to become more expert in different conditions.
